There’s a wealth of emerging youth artists in Ireland these days, and singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lorraine Nash is no exception. Hailing from County Kerry in the South West of Ireland, Nash has successfully injected a bit of Nashville into the rugged hills of Kerry. Her soulful blend of Americana and Irish Folk on her debut EP ‘Wildflower‘ saw her rising up in the charts nationally, becoming one of the most played female artists on Irish radio.
Freshly signed with FIFA Records, and with a debut full-length album on the horizon, Nash has released a new single titled ‘Sing With Her‘. The song was inspired by the #WhyNotHer movement and its revelations of gender inequality within the Irish music industry. It’s a call for musicians to stand together to ensure the industry is a level playing field.
